3M and Polish participating team took few years to create the innovative and patented technology. The factory is located in European Production Centre, another 3M’s investment on Kowalska Street in WrocÅ‚aw.
The factory was designed by PM Group, international architecture & engineering company.
‘We’ve already found the general contractor’, says Witold MichaÅ‚owski, PM Group Project Manager.
‘Construction works began after laying down the cornerstone. As the contracting engineer, PM Group supervises the investment’, adds Mr MichaÅ‚owski.
The investment should be ready by June 2011.
The factory producing Diesel catalyst filters is yet another 3M’s investment in Poland launched in cooperation with PM Group. Their cooperation has begun in 2008 when the company from the U.S. decided to create flight industry factory in WrocÅ‚aw.
The new factory is going to make the part of the European Production Centre. PM Group has already started design works on the next factory on Kowalska Street.
3 M factory in Wrocław
New 3M’s investment in Poland is going to be ready in June 2011. The building has been designed by PM Group company. This is another common undertaking of the two companies.
3M is going to invest over 60 mln złoty in the new factory. The factory will produce ecological filters parts for Diesel catalysts used in cars, trucks and coaches.
