Thanks to the agreement between WrocÅ‚aw University of Technology and IBM, four hundred students did the internship. The University hosts first Cloud Computing centre in Poland, so students don’t have to leave home or uni lab for work. Each of MC2 (Multipurpose Cloud Computing) interns is given versatile access to IBM resources. Workshops start up on the server so there’s no need to install them in PC.
Summer internships are not a single event. It’s time for the next level: internships during academic year and prep courses for future ‘Cloud’ interns. IBM invited also WrocÅ‚aw University of Technology to two prestigious, international teams: IBM Academic Skills Cloud and IBM Cloud Academy. First comprises twenty academic units from all over the world. This is a giant educational cloud project. The other one is a prestigious association of universities using Cloud Computing technologies.

IBM training for students
Eight students of the Wrocław University of Technology are going to participate in prestigious ESI (Educational Students Internship) training in IBM. Each year, only fifteen people from Poland out of hundred in the world are given this chance. ESI training is the award given for the best summer internship in Cloud.
