The regularly run lectures and workshops in most important centres of present-day design like German Vitra Design Museum, Domus Academy or European Institute of Design. Moreover, Ico Migliore is a visiting professor in Japanese universities: Kuwazawa Design School and Tokio Zokei University. They are also authors of Frederic Chopin Museum in Ostrogski Castle in Warsaw and Turin’s look of the city during 20th Winter Olympics in 2006.
Ico Migliore’s visit to WrocÅ‚aw organised by WrocÅ‚aw Agllomeration Development Agency within Design Accelerator is related to the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Italy in WrocÅ‚aw on 8th October. One day earlier, on 7th October, Ico Migliore is going to give two lectures on active communication space. First meeting takes place at the Faculty of Architecture, WrocÅ‚aw University of Technology and begins at 1 PM. Ico Migliore will present the main projects of his studio M+S that vitally contributed to the identity of the venues and might be important for the establishment of aesthetic and cultural quality of the city.
The other meeting, run in cooperation with WrocÅ‚aw’s Euro 2012 Office is hosted by the Royal Palace (City Museum of WrocÅ‚aw, Kazimierza Wielkiego Street) at 5.30 PM. There, Mr Migliore is going to present the examples of communication spaces as well as new stances and thinking patterns oriented on creating pieces of information and gathering people.
The language of the lectures is Italian, simultaneously interpreted to Polish.

Outstanding Italia architect visits Wrocław
One of the best Italia architects, Ico Migliore is going to give two lectures on active communication space. The lectures take place on 7th October at Wrocław University of Technology and in the Royal Palace.
Ico Migliore (migliore – ‘the best’ in Italia) and his co-worker Mara Servetto are outstanding Italian architects who together with the international team of graphic designers, architects and industrial designers implement projects of buildings and interior space as well as exhibitions. Since 1989, both have been working as lecturers in Milan University of Technology, where they also co-operated with Achille Castiglioni until 1993.
