Dr Krezel has written more than 40 scientific publications, he also co-authored a patent in protein biotechnology.
He completed a couple of internships abroad, has been awarded Foundation for Polish Science scholarship many times and won the competition for outstanding young scientists organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Currently he is working at the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Wroclaw.
It's been ten years since 'Polityka' weekly strated to support young, gifted Polish scientists. 196 people in all (20 this year) have already been acknowledged and joint sum awarded to the winners exceeded 5 million zloty. Each of this year's laureates received 25,000 zloty from the newspaper. The action purports to convince the most talented scholars to stay in Poland and contribute to Polish scientific institutions as well as to the education of their successors. The laureates of all editions of the programme 'Stay with us!'created the Association of 'Polityka' scholarship holders.

Member of the Academy of Young Scientists and Artists has been awarded a scholarship by 'Polityka' magazine. Dr Artur Krezel from the University of Wroclaw, member of the Academy of Young Scientists and Artists won 'Stay with us!' programme run by 'Polityka'weekly. It's already been ten years of scholarships for outstanding young scholars.
32-year old reader at the Faculty of Biotechnology works on molecular basis of zinc homeostasis, the element involved in all important life processes. Dr Krezel builds highly sensitive fluoroescent probes used in his research in molecular and extra-molecular zinc distribution. These processes may lead to height, differentation, reproduction, memory and immunological disorders and, thus to tumours.
