Centre of Economic Behaviour Research is a unit operating in SWPS branch in Wrocław where students gain professional experience. The Centre conducts scientific research in psychology of economy and behavioural economics in a broad meaning of the word (i.a. decision making, financial risk perception, psychology of entrepreneurial behaviour, stock market behaviour, decision making in social context, neuroeconomics, human resources psychology, leadership psychology or business games behaviour). Staff members of the Centre cooperate with business organisations and stock market investment societies, run business psychology training sessions and organise open lectures.
SWPS branch in Wrocław, whose head is prof. Dariusz Doliński, opened in 2004. The school offers the following courses: psychology, social, clinical, rehabilitation, management and marketing specialisations, sociology, journalism and social communication as well as several postgraduate courses.

Open days in School of Social Sciences in Wrocław
On Saturday, 11th September, Wrocław branch of the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) is organising open days. The event begins at 11 AM in the school’s assembly hall, 98 Grunwaldzka Street. Recruitment ends in late September 2010.
Prospective students will be given a chance to learn more about the university’s offer, meet their future lecturers and discuss study rules and curriculum with them. Open days also enable them to look up diverse types of student activities at SWPS like student scientific session, numerous societies and guest lectures given by well-known scholars. To top it up, they will be given the opportunity to visit the university to get familiar with study conditions.
